About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian's Ambulatory Care Network makes it easier for patients to access high-quality and affordable outpatient care right in their neighborhoods. The Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health Program is a psychiatric service that provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary, evidence-based services to adults with individual and group interventions. Higher acuity and complex cases are prioritized for rapid care and treated in time-focused phases of care. Together, we can help improve health care outcomes – physical, behavioral, and social health – and increase access for the members of our communities. As an essential part of our Ambulatory Care Network, the Adult Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will be working with an interdisciplinary team in the outpatient setting providing psychiatric evaluations, crisis triage, stabilization, and linkage to ongoing outpatient treatment. Medication management and short-term treatment will be provided for adults.
