About The Position
Join NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, part of the NewYork-Presbyterian healthcare network, a leading academic healthcare system affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine. This full-time, Monday through Friday position involves providing comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team within the neurosurgery service. The role requires travel between multiple practice locations in Flushing and Forest Hills. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner.
- Current New York State RN license.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a New York State approved accrediting body – American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years' NP/RN experience in Neurosurgery.
- Bilingual in Korean, Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Deliver care within the neurosurgery service in accordance with established Practice Protocols, Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practice Agreements, and the policies and procedures of the Division of Nursing, service department, and NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Medical Group.
