About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join Tanner Neurology.
Requirements
- Requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with a master’s degree in nursing.
- Active GA APRN license or meet criteria for obtaining licensure.
- A minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Neurology experience preferred; candidates with a strong interest in outpatient neurological care are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients, obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and assess neurological symptoms.
- Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with neurological conditions.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with neurologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and promote positive clinical outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team regarding treatment plans and follow-up recommendations.
