About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner Manager provides a full range of clinical services while overseeing the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program and managing nurse practitioners and physician assistants. They conduct chronic care clinics, infirmary rounds, and ensure documentation meets required standards. The role includes coordinating referrals, reviewing clinical practices, and implementing clinical policies. They collaborate with site medical and administrative leaders to maintain quality care and compliance. This position may also require participation in audits and committee activities. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold an advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Must have and maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner within the state
  • Must have and maintain current CPR certification
  • Large amount of experience as a Family or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • NP SUPERVISOR OR LEAD EXPERIENCE
  • OBGYN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Reside in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma experience
  • Corrections experience is preferred
  • Not just have been a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program and clinical provider scheduling

  • Ensure proper medical documentation and adherence to formulary and treatment guidelines
  • Review clinical practices and participate in committees and best practice projects
