About The Position
Wellpath is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Manager to provide clinical services, oversee the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, and manage nurse practitioners and physician assistants. This role involves conducting chronic care clinics, infirmary rounds, ensuring documentation meets standards, coordinating referrals, reviewing clinical practices, and implementing policies. The Nurse Practitioner Manager will collaborate with site medical and administrative leaders to maintain quality care and compliance, and may participate in audits and committee activities. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Hold an advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner within the state
- Current CPR certification
- Supervisor experience required
Nice To Haves
- Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma experience
- Corrections experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program and clinical provider scheduling
- Conduct patient care activities including chronic care clinics and infirmary rounds
- Ensure proper medical documentation and adherence to formulary and treatment guidelines
- Review clinical practices and participate in committees and best practice projects
- Implement and update clinical policies, collaborating with medical and administrative teams
- Oversee nurse practitioners and physician assistants
- Coordinate referrals
- Participate in audits
