About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner will be part of the Oncology care team ensuring excellent care and services are provided to in-patient hematology/oncology patients with respect and compassion. There will also be some out-patient coverage as needed. Practice the art and science of evidence-based nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Lead the charge in improving the patient care experience. This is a full-time, 40-hour work week position servicing in-patients and some out-patient coverage. Hours may vary including weekend rotation.
Requirements
- BSN
- Master's degree in Advanced Practice in area of specialty
- Current NYS RN license
- Current NYS NP license in area of specialty
- BLS through the AHA
Nice To Haves
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- 2+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialty
