MultiCare Rockwood Digestive Health ARNP works closely with gastroenterologists to provide care for patients with conditions such as IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, liver disease, and GI cancers. This role involves both clinical and hospitalist support, patient education, and administrative duties. It is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the growth of an integrated Digestive Health practice.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in GI setting
  • WA State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license
  • WA DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority required
  • BLS for Healthcare providers – certification by AHA required

Nice To Haves

  • Additional training customized based on prior experience
  • Digestive Health Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical exams and obtain detailed patient histories
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging, endoscopies)
  • Prescribe medications
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
