Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • National Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP or ANCC)
  • Unrestricted Washington State license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Active Washington State DEA license prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Nurse Practitioner experience strongly preferred
  • Gastroenterology experience highly valued
  • Epic EMR experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient Gastroenterology care to an established patient population
  • Independently manage a panel of new and established patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of GI conditions
  • Collaborate closely with Gastroenterologists and fellow Nurse Practitioners in a team based care model
  • Practice in an outpatient only setting with no inpatient responsibilities, procedures, or call
  • Once fully ramped, providers typically see approximately 14–16 patients per day.
