Nurse Practitioner- Functional Medicine
About The Position
This position requires a commute to the Newberg, Oregon clinic. The clinic blends traditional medicine with complementary therapies to offer patients a broader spectrum of treatment options. Services include hormone optimization for both men and women using bioidentical hormones, nutritional counseling, IV infusions, PRF procedures, weight management, and women’s health support. The role involves in-person, in-clinic interaction with patients on a daily basis. The clinic offers a small private practice with a family atmosphere of coworkers. They are closed major holidays and evenings and operate on a 4-day work week. There are 1-2 hours of admin time each working day and minimal to no call.
Requirements
- Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license for the duration of your employment.
- Hold an active AANP or ANCC certification and remain certified during the duration of your employment.
- Graduated from an accredited university.
- At least two years of experience in primary or urgent care settings.
- Possess a strong interest in functional medicine.
Nice To Haves
- Formal certification in functional medicine is not required, but mentorship and training are offered.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
