About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner position in Critical Care at a facility in Boston, MA. The role involves providing clinical coverage in the ICU, managing a patient census of approximately 7 patients per day. Responsibilities include rounding with the Attending physician in the morning and afternoon, completing tasks between rounds, and acting as the responding clinician for ICU patients. The Nurse Practitioner will manage a mix of ICU, Med Surg, and Burn cases. Coverage is required on weekends, including Friday nights.

Requirements

• Active MA license (PA)
• BC in Acute Care
• DEA required
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care

Responsibilities

• Round with Attending in the morning and afternoon
• Complete tasks between rounds
• Act as responding clinician for ICU patients
• Manage bread and butter ICU and Med Surg cases
• Provide coverage on weekends including Friday nights
