About The Position

The clinical provider is responsible for evaluating and treating, managing acute health problems using evidence-based protocols, and creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under the supervising physician.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited NP or PA program according to Tennessee State Law
  • License and Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of TN.
  • Prescriptive authorization
  • Two years of relevant clinical experience
  • BLS/ACLS
  • DEA

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-employment and annual wellness physicals
  • Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under supervising physician’s protocols
  • Provide health screenings and other disease prevention programs
  • Evaluation and treatment of patients for injury and illness
  • Report and review cases with the medical director and client managers
  • Oversee respirator and auditory testing for employees by clinic staff
  • Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions to meet the needs of teammates.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and practice within the scope of practice outlined in the written protocol
  • Provide patient education, health coaching, and patient health advocacy
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Monitors the effectiveness of interventions
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
  • Enter patient data into the EMR system accurately & promptly
  • Assist in all areas of the clinic, if needed
  • Perform related duties as required
