In this role, you will collaborate with prominent Cardiothoracic Surgeons to provide all aspects of pre-op and post-op care for surgical patients in the inpatient setting. Responsibilities include management of patients with pre and post op heart, aortic, lung, and esophageal surgery and heart transplant. Requirements

  • Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license
  • National Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of practice
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BCLS certification thru AHA
  • Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 Year of ICU experience preferred.
  • Cardiac or CTICU experience preferred
