This role provides a unique opportunity for 1:1 training with a neurosurgeon, focusing on advanced surgical procedures in both cranial and spine, with a specialization in skull base procedures. The established practice and staff are dedicated to taking time with their patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

• >1-year experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or an Orthopedic setting
• 1st Assist in OR preferred

Responsibilities

• 1st Assist in OR
• Perform advanced surgical procedures both cranial and spine, specializing in skull base procedures.
