About The Position

AMG is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our growing Neurology team. This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions in an outpatient setting.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current APRN licensure in the state of FL
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP preferred)
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in neurology, or related specialty
• Familiarity with EMR systems
• Background in managing chronic neurological disorders

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation
• Diagnose and manage neurological conditions such as headache and pain disorders, movement disorders, Seizure and Epilepsy Disorders, Cognitive and Memory disorders.
• Collaborate with neurologists and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans
• Order and interpret lab tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
• Provide patient education on disease management, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress and responses to therapy
• Participate in clinic, or telehealth services as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
