Requirements

  • Registered Nurse
  • AZ American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within six (6) months

  • Bachelors Of Nursing

  • One year obstetrics acute experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for new mothers and their newborns.
  • Monitor maternal and neonatal vital signs, identify potential complications, and intervene promptly to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care, promoting health, wellness, and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, value-driven care.
  • Support the emotional well-being of mothers and families, embodying compassion, dignity, and patient advocacy in every encounter.
  • Advocate for patients while fostering a culture of teamwork, trust, and ethical care that reflects Dignity Health's vision and guiding principles.
