The Specialty Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology Nurse Navigator will provide compassionate and skilled oncology expertise spanning the entire cancer care continuum; including diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and end of life care. The RN will provide assistance to patients, families and care givers to help overcome healthcare system barriers and facilitate timely access to quality health and psychosocial care. The specialty RN should have a deep understanding of clinical oncology practices, cutting edge therapies, and diagnostic innovations, combined with a patient centered approach to care. In this role you will support patients with new, recurrent, or metastatic cancer diagnosis, ensuring seamless coordination of care amongst our oncology departments, including but not limited to medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, genetics, and palliative care.
