About The Position

Supports, educates, and assists patients and their families, serving as a link to their doctors and supportive services. This position’s role is key in the implementation of multi-disciplinary care. The Nurse Navigator II is an integral part of the Oncology Multidisciplinary Team. Connects with newly diagnosed patients prior to first apt and at first appointment with oncology provider Facilitates the Multidisciplinary Care at MDA Cancer Center at Cooper University Health Care Supports, educates and removes barriers to ensure timely specialized care Assesses patients for Clinic Research Trials Coordinates Disease Specific Tumor Board Complies with all system and departmental policies and procedures Maintains active and current professional credentials

Requirements

• Current NJ-RN License or if working in an office in another state, that applicable state liscnese
• Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

• Oncology Nursing experience preferred
• program development background a plus
