About The Position

Mercy Medical Center is hiring a Nurse Midwife to provide care as part of a supportive, mission-driven healthcare environment. The role requires an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwife degree, a current Maryland Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwife license in good standing, and CPR/BLS certification. Two years of experience as a practicing NP/Nurse Midwife is preferred. Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwife degree from an accredited school.
• State of Maryland NP/Nurse Midwife license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Computer literacy and skills using various computers and software programs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English understandably.
• Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
• Flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to function effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
