About The Position

Together We CAN! The Nurse Mentor will perform nursing duties within the scope of practice as defined by the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act. The function of a Registered Nurse serving as a Nurse Mentor is independent, and includes but not limited to the following: Required: Managing and administering nursing services within a specific household according to Glenaire protocol and policies Procuring and scheduling adequate licensed and unlicensed nursing staff for the household Assigning, delegating, supervising and evaluating licensed nursing professionals, as well as others involved in the household team Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating resident’s physical condition when necessary Perform, document and complete MDS Collaborating to provide best practices for the resident within the multidisciplinary team Assisting all members of the multidisciplinary team to achieve the resident’s optimum level of functioning Developing the nursing component of the residents’ plan of care Communicating with the resident’s representatives and developing positive relationships with them Why Us? Responsibilities

  • Managing and administering nursing services within a specific household according to Glenaire protocol and policies
  • Procuring and scheduling adequate licensed and unlicensed nursing staff for the household
