About The Position
NHC Healthcare Murfreesboro is seeking a compassionate nursing leader who is truly passionate about serving the geriatric population. In this role, you will lead a team of nursing professionals, overseeing patient care and supervising staff nurses and CNAs to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of service.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current unencumbered Tennessee nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in geriatric nursing.
- Proven leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the management team to develop and implement nursing policies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate patient assessments and personalized care plans.
- Maintain consistent communication with patients and families, encouraging their involvement in care decisions.
- Lead recruitment, training, and retention efforts for nursing staff.
- Supervise and mentor nursing partners to maintain excellence on the unit.
