About The Position
St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, a member of Catholic Health, has been serving the Smithtown area for over 50 years. Requirements
- Passion for Med/Surg.
- 3-5 years of working experience in Med/Surg Nursing.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Regulatory knowledge.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations of the Respiratory Care unit.
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to foster professional growth.
- Participate in budget management, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Assess unit operations and identify process improvements for an enhanced patient experience.
