Requirements
- Current RN license
- BSN required
- 2+ years psychiatric/behavioral health leadership experience (charge/assistant manager acceptable)
- Proven results driving quality, patient experience, and team engagement.

- MSN/MBA preferred
Responsibilities
- Own unit outcomes: staffing, patient flow, safety metrics, quality indicators, and budget stewardship.
- Coach and develop nurse supervisors, RNs, LPNs, and Mental Health Technicians; build a high‑trust, high‑performance culture.
- Lead huddles, debriefs, and interdisciplinary rounds; remove barriers so care teams can focus on healing.
- Oversee incident review, root‑cause analysis, and performance improvement projects.
- Model trauma‑informed care, just culture, and compassionate crisis intervention (verbal de‑escalation, safe team response, post‑event support).
- Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
- Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
