Nurse Manager
About The Position
The Nurse Manager provides on-going guidance to nurses, reviews active participants' clinical records in accordance with Federal, State, and other regulatory agency requirements, and reviews charts to maintain an optimum level of care. This role identifies quality improvement opportunities and assists in resolving repeated or patterned participant care issues. The Nurse Manager maintains current knowledge of New York State Department of Health CMS PACE regulations, conducts ongoing audits of participant clinical records to ensure compliance with agency policies and PACE regulations, and ensures corrections are completed. Additionally, the Nurse Manager reviews all enrollment packets before submission for HRA approval and reviews all initial nursing assessments.
Requirements
- Current NY State Registered Nurse License
- 3-5 years of experience as a RN manager/supervisor

Responsibilities
- Provides on-going guidance to nurses.

- Reviews charts in order to maintain optimum level care.
- Identifies quality improvement opportunities and assets in resolving those participant care issues that have been repeated or patterned.
- Maintains current knowledge of New York States Department of Health CMS PACE regulations including program discipline when needed.
- Conducts audits of participant clinical records on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with agency policies and PACE regulations. Collect all audit findings and make sure that corrections are completed.
- Review all enrollment packets before submission for HRA approval.
- Review all initial nursing assessments.
