An award-winning healthcare network is seeking a dynamic and patient-focused Nurse Manager – Progressive Care to provide clinical and operational leadership for a high-performing patient care unit. The Nurse Manager for Progress Care will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the nursing department. This role is responsible for maintaining 24-hour accountability for nursing operations, patient care excellence, staff leadership, fiscal oversight, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. The Nurse Manager will collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, nursing leadership, and support departments to ensure exceptional patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader who is passionate about mentoring staff, improving patient experiences, and advancing evidence-based nursing practices within a progressive care environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Nursing Administration, or related healthcare field
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association upon hire
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing standards, patient safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to lead clinical teams in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or nurse management experience
  • Experience within Progressive Care, Step-Down, Telemetry, or Acute Care settings
  • Experience with performance improvement initiatives and staff development
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission, State, and Federal healthcare regulations
