About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with ten locations across five states. Offering the very highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, our services span every level of care - including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. Avenues is both JCAHO and CARF accredited, and in full compliance with all ASAM standards. We are looking for a compassionate professional who appreciates stimulating yet meaningful work to join our all-star team. This role is for a Nurse Manager for First Shift (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm).

Requirements

Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
One year experience in substance use treatment field preferred
Valid RN licensure necessary to practice nursing in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
Excellent oral and written communication and critical thinking skills
Strong collaborative, multitasking, and time-management skills
Natural leadership abilities with commitment to excellence

Responsibilities

Ensure quality, compassionate, and timely medical care for every Avenues client
Ensure seamless coordination of client care between medical and clinical departments, UR team, external healthcare providers, and pharmacies
Oversee all medication inventory, logs, and authorizations, lab shipments and reports, medical supplies and equipment etc.
Oversee and direct all nursing and medical support staff (interviews, onboarding, training, retention, scheduling, shift coverage, HR needs, and performance reviews)
Maintain medical workflow process and conduct ongoing reviews of protocol and operations
Ensure quality medical documentation and charting standards through weekly chart review
