About The Position

The Nurse Manager of a patient care unit or service maintains 24-hour accountability for the clinical leadership of staff. Responsible for overall personnel and fiscal management, clinical standards development, staff development, and the continuous improvement of activities within assigned areas. Through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and others, reviews, analyzes and recommends changes in practice to work toward achieving Queen of the Valley Medical Center's goal to become a Center of Excellence. Practice is in accordance with Joint Commission standards, State and Federal regulatory criteria, and professional practice standards. Proficiency is demonstrated in the required competencies. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing Admin: - Nursing or related field.
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 3 years Relevant clinical experience.
  • Do you have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing?
  • Do you have minimum 3 years of RN work experience in an acute care (hospital) setting?
  • Do you have RN- Leadership experience? (ex. Charge RN, Relief Nurse, ANM, Nurse Manager/etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
