Requirements
- Current Oregon RN License.
- Current BLS certification required.
- 2-3 years of critical care experience.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities; good communication skills, ability to inspire confidence in others, ability to plan, implement and evaluate change, commitment to promoting growth of others.
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job specific competencies, critical thinking skills, strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor' degree preferred.
- management experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accepts responsibility, accountability and authority as a unit manager on a 24-hour basis.
- Utilizes knowledge, methods and techniques pertinent to directing, guiding and assisting nursing management and staff members in fulfilling their responsibilities.
- Oversees staff development, house coordinators and staffing office personnel.
