About The Position

The AC3 Pulmonary Clinic and Procedures is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to lead their dynamic team within a primarily outpatient clinic and bronchoscopy procedure suite. This role will oversee advanced procedures and PFTs for both outpatients and inpatients. Based primarily at Strong Memorial Hospital with additional oversight responsibilities at an offsite location, the Nurse Manager will provide clinical leadership and operational management for a collaborative team comprised of nurses, procedure technicians, respiratory therapists, and a nurse navigator. The position involves fostering team development, optimizing patient flow, managing resources, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and operational excellence, with close collaboration with physician and administrative leaders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree
• Current RN license
• Progressive nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or procedural setting
• Experience in advanced bronchoscopy or pulmonary procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned outpatient unit.
• Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments.
• Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.
• Provide clinical leadership and operational management for a collaborative team comprised of nurses, procedure technicians, respiratory therapists, and a nurse navigator.
• Foster team development, optimize patient flow, manage resources, and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
• Close collaboration with physician and administrative leaders.
