About The Position

Crittenton's Children Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to join their inpatient team. This role models leadership competencies and core values, and is accountable for the development, implementation, and evaluation of care provided on patient care units. The Nurse Manager works collaboratively with nursing leadership to identify areas for improvement in practice, policies, and processes, supporting optimal care that requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking, and skills. This role also drives employee engagement and retention and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to exceed customer expectations in a patient-centered and healing environment. The Nurse Manager may occasionally be counted in staffing if required due to unit size and structure.

Requirements

  • RN required
  • Minimum 2 years experience required
  • Acute hospital care experience required
  • Associate Degree - Science in Nursing
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse - Various

Nice To Haves

  • Behavioral healthcare experience preferred
  • BLS preferred

Responsibilities

  • Development, implementation, and evaluation of the care provided on the patient care units consistent with the established strategic plan goals and objectives for Patient Centered Care.
  • Identification of areas of improvement regarding practice policies and processes in collaboration with nursing leadership.
  • Support of optimal care that requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking, and skills based on principles of psychological, social, physical, and biological sciences that utilize the nursing processes.
  • Driving employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to exceed customer expectations in a patient-centered and healing environment.
  • Maintaining all clinical competencies if required due to size and structure of the unit and may occasionally be counted in staffing.
