About The Position
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager for our PACU Department. Responsible and accountable for management and clinical activities on designated units so that optimal quality patient care is delivered in a cost-effective manner 24 hours a day.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing and hold a current license in State of West Virginia.
- BSN required.
- Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience.
- PACU/OHRR manager should have a minimum of 3 years ICU experience.
- Demonstrate competence in management and leadership skills.
- Should maintain skills in order to relate to changing care needs.
- BLS required.
- Certification in specialty area required within 3 years of employment as Clinical Manager.
Nice To Haves
- MSN, MHA or MBA preferred.
- Member of a professional organization.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate flow of operating room/procedural area patients to the appropriate recovery area.
