About The Position

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking an experienced and inspiring RN Manager to lead our 28-bed Orthopedics Unit in Portland, Oregon. This is a full-time day shift leadership opportunity with flexible scheduling, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eligible external candidates may receive a $10,000 hiring bonus when required qualifications and conditions for payment are met. In this role, you will provide operational, clinical, and strategic leadership for a high-performing orthopedic service line, overseeing approximately 75-80 caregivers and partnering closely with an Assistant Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary leaders to drive excellence in patient outcomes, caregiver engagement, and operational performance. About the Orthopedics Unit The Orthopedics Unit is a 28-bed acute care medical/surgical telemetry unit that provides care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License Upon hire
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association Upon hire
  • 5 years of nursing experience with progressive leadership roles

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of leadership experience
  • 5 or more years of inpatient RN work experience
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Coursework/Training: Formal coursework in Management, Finance, and other administrative subjects
  • National Certification from a recognized professional organization in a relevant field of clinical expertise Upon hire
  • Management experience

Responsibilities
