About The Position

The Nurse Manager oversees the overall daily function and staffing of the unit or department to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The manager monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives. The position is with Medical City Dallas Heart & Spine Hospitals in Surgical Ortho. It is full-time and exempt.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Texas; compact license is accepted.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
Five years of experience required.
Experience in the specialty area required; the number of years is not specified.
Two years of supervisory or management experience in an acute care environment required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
