About The Position

This role involves overseeing all nursing activities, workflows, and resource allocation within the Operating Room Spine specialty. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of patient care, managing the full employee lifecycle for their team, and maintaining adherence to regulatory standards and departmental finances.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing activities, workflows, and resource allocation.
• Actively identify and resolve issues to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation.
• Foster a positive and professional work environment.
• Maintain strict adherence to regulatory/accreditation standards.
• Manage departmental finances by monitoring budgets and approving expenditures to ensure fiscal compliance.
