This leadership role will oversee the inpatient High Risk Antepartum unit as well as the system OB Float Pool. The Nurse Manager leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing process, promotes a positive patient experience and environment that supports family-centered care reflective of the patient population. They build and retain a talented and inspired workforce by developing, engaging, and empowering personnel to fulfill their potential. Collaboration as an integrated team is fostered through sharing information, best practices, and results openly via a professional governance model. The role contributes to and facilitates strategic program growth, development, and organizational change. The Nurse Manager is accountable and responsible for the achievement of organizational and financial goals, and achieves quality outcomes through the utilization of a performance improvement process. They use evidence-based practice and research to guide patient care through interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsible for self-development and supports a learning environment, demonstrating progressive leadership and effective management. Accountable for ensuring regulatory standards are maintained and displays commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned, complying with all policies and standards, and abiding by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients.
