About The Position

Provides oversight for the financial performance and clinical operations of assigned departments, coordinating nursing services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• 5 years of professional nursing experience
• minimum 2 years as staff RN in immunotherapy/CHEMO
• 1 year of supervisory responsibilities
• Valid AK RN license required at time of submittal
• Must have ACLS
• Knowledge and skills in computer systems
• proficient in nursing procedures
• strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
• PALS and NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight for the financial performance of departments, sets annual budgets, and practices cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Coordinates Nursing Service orientation, selects and evaluates preceptors for new employees, and makes patient care assignments.
• Supports program planning with data for personnel, equipment, supplies, and training.
• Implements agency standards and collaborates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Acts as Acting Chief Nursing Officer when required and participates in goal setting and executive committee meetings.
