About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health to lead unit operations in a hospital-based psych setting in Brooklyn, NY. This role is responsible for overseeing daily unit operations, supporting clinical staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring admissions and discharges, driving performance improvement, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in New York State
- BSN required, Master’s preferred
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience
- Minimum 5 years of clinical psychiatry experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
- Must have experience managing a psych unit in a hospital
- Current BLS, ACLS, and Crisis Management certification
