We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to collaborate with our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals and guide our clients in their recovery journey. Requirements
- Current unencumbered LPN license in state of Pennsylvania.
- Current CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred.
- Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions, as applicable
- Medication administration
- Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols
- Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol
- Provide medication education to clients
- Coordinate and support Medical providers with assessments and medication management appointments
- Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries
- Other duties as assigned.
