About The Position

Franciscan Health is seeking dedicated individuals for our Nurse Internship program, designed to bridge the gap between education and professional nursing practice. This program offers students the chance to gain valuable clinical experience while completing their nursing degrees. Interns will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting in providing high-quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to learn hands-on care, recognize patient signs and symptoms, and respond effectively. Franciscan Health, a large Catholic healthcare system in the Midwest with 11 ministries across Indiana, is committed to compassionate and comprehensive care. Our internship program supports the nursing workforce demand and allows students to transition smoothly into nursing practice. Interns are paid for their work and receive tuition assistance for the final semesters of their nursing program. With a tradition of over a century in healthcare, Franciscan Health continues Christ's ministry in the Franciscan tradition, providing a safe and nurturing environment for nurses to develop new skills.
