Requirements

• Senior level status in any nursing program required.
• Ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions relating to basic patient care and transport.
• Must be able to work and stand for long periods, as well as lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs nursing tasks for which he/she has been trained and has demonstrated competency through a skills checklist.
