About The Position

Join our team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing cancer and cancer-related health challenges. In this role, you’ll provide expert patient care, health teaching, and counseling while delivering interventions that restore and support well-being. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians and licensed providers to carry out medical regimens and lead a dedicated care team of nurses and clinical support staff. Beyond daily patient care, you’ll also take part in professional development opportunities through workshops, in-service training, and ongoing education. Requirements

  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time oncology nursing experience; or
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time critical care experience; or
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting; or
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting and completion of Roswell Park nursing orientation with the ability to function independently at a satisfactory level for three (3) months (full-time) as a Nurse I at Roswell Park.
