About The Position

The University of Maryland Shore Regional Health is seeking nurse graduates with a desire to join our premier multidisciplinary team. Our new graduate nurses receive an accredited 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to prepare you for success well beyond your first year as a nurse, building on the knowledge and skills learned in your previous undergraduate programs and during your unit-based individualized orientation.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• If graduate is completing the initial examination: testing must be completed within 90 days of the date that the graduate completed the school nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Nurse Graduate in an ICU setting on the night shift.
• Participate in an accredited 12-month Nurse Residency Program.
• Complete unit-based individualized orientation.
• Progress in function, skills, and pay through an achievable promotion schedule.
• Provide nursing care within a nursing-centered care model at an Academic Medical Center with Magnet Designation.
