Requirements
- The Nursing Student must have completed one semester of clinicals and be enrolled in an accredited nursing program at the Associate or Bachelor level.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days
Responsibilities
- Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse
- Works collaboratively with the patient care team
- Provides direct patient care under the direction, delegation and supervision of a registered nurse
- Documents patient care given
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to supervising RN
