Nurse Educator (1099 Independent Contractor)
About The Position

Our talented team members provide therapy and healthcare system expertise to help patients achieve better results from care. This position is for an Independent Contract Nurse to cover the entire state of Connecticut. This is a flexible contract position traveling to patient's homes to train on injection techniques. Training requests range from 1-3 a month. Complete the patient training on their schedule within our guidelines. Each training takes about 1-2 hours on average. Number of trainings will vary, depending on the number of new enrollments.
Requirements
- RN license in state providing services (Connecticut)
- Carry liability Insurance (can purchase at a later date)
- Driver’s license and car insurance
- Computer skills, personal computer, personal cellphone
- Exceptional communication, training and interpersonal relationship skills
Responsibilities
- Traveling to patient's homes to train on injection techniques.
- Completing patient training on their schedule within guidelines.
- Completing 1-3 trainings a month, with the number varying based on new enrollments.
