Nurse Director of Mental Health Program
About The Position
Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals, typically 65 and older, experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, engaging with the local community through education and referral development, growing and maintaining patient census, and ensuring compliance with professional and ethical guidelines. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no holidays, weekends, or on-call duties, and competitive benefits including vision and dental insurance, low-cost medical insurance, a matching 401k vested on day one, and furthering education assistance.
Requirements
- RN or LPN required
- Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing required
- Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients. required
Nice To Haves
- Psychiatric experience preferred
- Management/Administration experience preferred
- Passion for working with Older Adults preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, therapist, and medical office coordinator providing services to the senior population.
- Engage with your local community through education (presentations, one-on-one meetings, etc.)
- Referral development through hospital staff, providers, and community resources
- Growing and maintaining patient census
- Ensure compliance through professional and ethical guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
