This is a full-time, 40-hour position located at the Main Campus in Boston. Requirements

Current registration/licensure in nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
MSN, DNP, PhD, or BSN with a Master's degree in a related field, required.
Current certification required or to be attained within two years from date of hire. Certification must be maintained while employed in this position.
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in Women's Health.
Demonstrated evidence of exemplary nursing practice in Labor and Delivery.
Accomplished nursing leader with expertise in Labor & Delivery and Women's Health.
Strong operational, strategic, and people leadership skills.
Experience leading complex inpatient services and multidisciplinary teams.
Proven ability to drive change, engagement, and clinical excellence.
Commitment to innovation, accountability, and nursing professional practice.

Nice To Haves

Three years labor and delivery nursing experience preferred.
Recent experience as a nurse leader responsible for collaboration in a highly matrixed leadership structure helpful.
Experience with labor relations preferred.

Drive quality, safety, and exceptional patient outcomes.
Foster an environment of inclusivity, collaboration, psychological safety, trust and respect for patients, families, and interdisciplinary clinicians and colleagues.
Lead workforce engagement, recruitment, retention, team building, and succession planning.
Mentor and develop nursing leaders and frontline staff.
Advance evidence-based practice, innovation, and nursing scholarship.
Collaborate in creation of annual operating budgets, including proposals for new initiatives.
Contribute to developing, refining, implementing Department of Nursing vision, practice model and aligning with MGB goals.
Lead quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness efforts.
Responsible for the supervision of an assistant nurse director, registered nurses, surgical technicians and others as directed.
Provide strategic, operational, financial, and clinical leadership.
Partner closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary leaders to advance care and ensure a caring, healing and collaborative environment.
Shape the future of maternal-fetal nursing care within a nationally recognized medical center.
