About The Position
Nurse Coordinators participate in an expanded nurse role as an integral member of the Critical Care Team. The Nurse Coordinator must possess our institutional values of integrity, kindness, safety, nurse excellence, leadership, professionalism, and loyalty while providing high quality safe care. Under the direction and general supervision of the ICU Nurse Manager, the registered nurse coordinator uses high-level critical thinking skills and expertise in the safe administration of various medications while also balancing and providing the framework of comprehensive patient centric care.
Requirements
- Current CT RN Licensure
- B.S. with concentration in nursing required. Will accept matriculation into a BSN program (traditional or on-line) within six months of accepting the position.
- ACLS, CPR
- 3+ years critical care experience required
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience preferred.
