About The Position

At St. Louis Children’s Hospital, we are dedicated to finding the right treatment for every child by minimizing the impact of seizures and epilepsy on their lives and opening new possibilities for their futures! This role coordinates the health care of select patient populations/designated service across the continuum of care. It is responsible for coordination of patient contact, patient education, and prepares the patient/family for procedures/tests in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing
• 2-5 years experience
• RN license

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in neurosciences or inpatient care for patients with epilepsy or seizures
• Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient care by assessing and evaluating patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Coordinates the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence-based clinical practice.
• Monitors care and data to optimize patient outcomes.
• Facilitate the education of patients and families.
• Acts as a resource to the health care team.
• Ensures actions meet and support the overall goals of the business.
