About The Position

All Native Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to review medical clearance examinations and updates, assess medical diagnoses and needs, and make timely clearance and post-approval determinations. The role evaluates medical reports and diagnostic information against Department policy, regulations, ISO standards, medical clearance guidelines, and established procedures. It requires independent clinical decision-making and frequent, sometimes sensitive, communication with government employees, dependents, other agencies, health care providers, and medical consultants. The Nurse Consultant reviews initial and updated clearance submissions, adjudicates cases assigned by last name, and evaluates whether an individual’s health needs can be met at particular overseas posts. The nurse documents decisions and rationale in eMED, communicates missing-information requirements, and processes post approvals within the specified timelines. The role also participates in internal performance reviews, process committees, and staff meetings, provides customer service, and orients new employees. No supervisory responsibility is required. This is a part-time position in a professional office environment. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; evening and weekend hours may be required based on business needs. Travel is primarily local during the business day, with some out-of-area and overnight travel possible. A Secret security clearance is required; Top Secret is preferred.
