The role collaborates with healthcare team members and participates in team conferences to coordinate treatment recommendations, appointments, and diagnostic studies, and supports IRB-approved nursing and physician research activities. The clinician applies evidence to point-of-care practice to optimize outcomes, continues expanding clinical knowledge and skills focused on pediatric cardiology treatments and procedures, and meets nursing excellence standards that support Magnet Recognition. The role participates in professional governance councils, committees, task forces, and staff meetings to influence clinical practice and decision-making. It promotes change, patient satisfaction, safe care, professionalism, and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
