The Nurse Clinician III (RN) in Interventional Radiology is a competent clinician with the knowledge, skill, and experience to meet the standards for competent professional nursing practice. This role requires proficiency in the specialty area, functioning effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team with predominantly interdependent decision-making. The practice is problem-focused and patient-centered, with the ability to manage unexpected or emergency situations common in the assigned specialty population. This position serves as a resource for Nurse Clinician I or II, managing common contingency situations. Patient care is provided based on the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance, valuing specialty unit, nursing, and institutional strategic initiatives and health system goals.
